It was so wonderful to see you last week at orientation. I know we went over a lot of info, but here is a brief overview in case you missed it or misplaced your papers.
FAQ's can be found on a previous blog post, however there are some changes to note. We have 14 students in our class. Instead of doing weekly spelling, we will have a monthly book report. For Reader's workshop, we will be using the Daily 5 framework with stations. This allows me to meet with small groups of students and work with them at their reading level. Discipline/Expectations: I have very high expectations and positive expectations. The students learned them on the first day of school and created a class mantra. If a student has two warnings from me, they will take a break at the refocus area until I can talk to them. Further, more serious action will take place if behavior does not improve, such as a phone call home, conversation with Mrs. Hartrich or Father Nelson or a detention. Comments are closed.
